gimme your stuff and the others follow

Gimme Your Stuff

I found this blog, gimme your stuff. It's a great idea to arrange a "cultural swap" with someone from another country. It's a full-blown advantage. Firstly, you'll meet other people from other country with the same interests as you have. Secondly, you'll receive some treasured stuffs from their side of the world and lastly, as you send parcels to them, you excite them. fill them with joy!

I am the pulchritudinous maleena or karen. i have the blood of both Japanese and Filipino. I love fashion. I sort of love to match peculiar things up. I took art and piano class too. and photography and music are my passions.

As this is a swap, and not a beauty contest, i guess i need to list my wants and what i can send now. so here they are fellow swapees.

As i live 2 persons-in-one, i will send either Filipino stuffs or Japanese. So here's what i'm about to send:

- tradional snacks like dried mangoes, mangorines, sushi leaves, noodles, cantons, etc.

- local candies, chocolates, biscuits and chips

- mix cd of Filipino music (i am currently in the Philippines)

- fashion magazines/craft magazines

- Filipino children's books

- kawaii things (Hello Kitty, Monokoro Boo, etc.)

- socks

- guitar-related stuffs (Filipinos are rockstars, people.)

- weird necklaces

- colored thread or ribbons

- handmade gift wrappers, papers, notebooks

- scrapbooking stuffs

- stationery and stickers

- keychains

- coins

- stones and erasers

- vintage clothes

- books

- nailpolishes

- stuffed toys

- cute wallets

- local cosmetics

- markers, colors, invisible pens, pencils, pens

- local kitchen ingredients such as coffee creamers, coffee, salt, sugar, bread spread, mayonnaise, etc.

- hair clips/scrunchies, accessories

I am under no limitations. Whatever requests would be accepted from Chinese (we have a Chinese mall here) to Japanese to yummy Filipino delicacies. (that rhymes.)

Visit this for another good swap.

In my part, i would love to receive:

- fashion magazines, photography magazines, art magazines or craft magazines

- drawings or artworks

- mix cd from your side of the world

- local foods like candies, chocolates, biscuits and chips

- books

- children's books

- American indie films

- vinyl records or laser disks

- anything with penguins on it

- t-shirts

- knitting magazines

- eyeglasses or retro glasses

- vintage fabrics

- weird eyeglasses

- handmade stuffs

- scrapbooking stuffs

- keychains

- small things like kawaii stuffs

- unpredictable things

- polkadot stuffs

- knee-high socks

- dvds

- a taser

- anything tradional or unique from your country

if you are keen on swapping with me, e-mail me at webishell[at]yahoo[dot]com or post a comment or add me at Yahoo! messenger: webishell[at]yahoo[dot]com, so we can be more specific with our interests.

Happiness comes from every boxes. (i made that one up!)
Greetings! from Japan and Philippines.

Hi, I'm Simmy and I think you and I were added to Gimme Your Stuff at the same time. Of course since you live in Japan - you already have four different offers to swap whereas I have none (I'm from the US where it seems most folks on Gimme are from). Anyway, if you think you want to swap, drop me an email with the stuff you're looking for and I'm sure I'll be able to get it since I live in the DC area. Happy swapping! Simmy

I'm not sure if I can get a book on your book list, but I'll do my best. If not, perhaps I'll include another book that you may enjoy!
